Thank you for visiting my site!
I am 23 years old, and I have a Bachelor's Degree in English from Eastern Connecticut State University in Willimantic, CT. After receiving my Bachelor's degree, I enrolled in Eastern's Elementary Education Certification and Masters Program. I will be student teaching in the fall of 2007 and plan to graduate in the spring of 2008. I have found my experience at Eastern to be extremely helpful in preparing to teach.
Some of my hobbies include reading, dancing, and being outdoors, especially in the summer. In my free time (which I don't have much of) I like to relax and watch a movie or my favorite television shows. I also love going out and trying new things.
I am very excited to be having my first "real" teaching experience and plan to make the best of it. Although I have been in classrooms for the last two years has a substitute, I find the experience will be much different. I am thrilled that I am in the end of the program, and can't wait until I have my own classroom.
